With over 10 years of experience in mental health, wellness, and community empowerment, Shenequa brings a wealth of expertise to her practice. As a licensed clinical mental health counselor, certified rehabilitation counselor, and wellness consultant, she is committed to making a positive impact through her work.

 

Shenequa's approach involves a comprehensive range of services, including mental health education and awareness, individual and group therapy, skills-building workshops, facilitation, wellness consulting, and impactful speaking engagements. Her passion lies in fostering mental health awareness, personal growth, and community empowerment. Her experience spans areas such as career counseling, stress and anger management, self-esteem enhancement, anxiety, trauma, family issues, and adjustment to life transitions. She has worked with various age groups in diverse settings, including Health & Human Services, Intensive Outpatient, Non-profit, Community, and Private Practice.

Shenequa mainly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused treatment modalities. Depending on the unique needs of the client, Shenequa utilizes an eclectic

therapeutic approach in order to produce positive outcomes.
