My Approach

OUR SERVICES: Counseling is conducted in many different ways depending on the counselor. Counseling is a collaborative process between you and your therapist. We provide virtual (Telehealth) appointments through the web and in-office appointments. The Counseling Process can be enjoyable and exciting. At times, it can be challenging, difficult and even painful. However, the goal will always be to bring about some positive change. Many individuals come to counseling for different reasons, so our first initial meeting will be a consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking counseling. We will discuss your counseling needs and concerns and decide if we can work together in addressing your needs. During the consultation we will evaluate the results of our work together, and determine the need for additional sessions, termination, or outside referral for further counseling or assistance. Throughout our work together, I will make every reasonable effort to professionally facilitate the resolution of your needs and concerns. In the end, you must decide to use what you gain from the counseling process. I believe the counseling process should be centered around the person and focus on identifying clients needs and goals, self-exploration, gaining a positive outcome and overall growth.
